Where can I find my tracking number?
Your tracking number is sent via email once your order ships. Look for an email with "shipped" or "tracking" in the subject line from our store. The tracking number is in the email body, usually as a clickable link or plain text.
How long does production take?
Standard Production: 2-4 business days
Priority Expedited Processing: 1-3 working days (if selected at checkout)
Shipping time is additional and depends on your location and selected shipping method (typically 2-7 business days within the USA).
When will I receive my tracking number?
You'll receive your tracking number via email once your custom steel sign is completed and shipped. This typically happens within 3-5 business days of placing your order (or 2-3 days if you selected expedited processing).
What carriers do you use?
We ship via FedEx and USPS depending on your location and shipping method selected at checkout. AfterShip's tracking system supports both carriers automatically, plus 1,100+ other carriers worldwide.
My tracking shows no information
If your tracking number shows no information:
- Wait 24-48 hours after receiving the tracking number - carriers sometimes take time to update their systems
- Make sure you entered the tracking number correctly (no extra spaces or dashes)
- Check that you're using the full tracking number from your email
- Try the tracking number directly on the carrier's website (USPS.com or FedEx.com)
Order Status Meanings
Label Created/Pre-Transit: Shipping label has been created, package is waiting for carrier pickup.
In Transit: Package is on its way to you, moving through the carrier's network.
Out for Delivery: Package is on the delivery truck and will arrive today.
Delivered: Package has been successfully delivered to your address.
Exception: Delivery delay or issue - check details for more information.
What if I don't have a tracking number yet?
If you haven't received a tracking number, your order may still be in production. Each sign is custom-made to order with your personalization. Please allow 3-5 business days for production before shipping. You can:
- Check your order confirmation email for your order number and status
- Log into your account at My Account to view order details
- Contact our support team for a production update
Can I track multiple packages?
Yes! AfterShip allows you to track multiple packages. Simply enter your tracking number, and you can add more tracking numbers on the AfterShip page that opens.
International Shipping
Currently, we only ship within the USA. All tracking numbers will be for domestic US carriers (USPS or FedEx).
Delivery Issues
If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven't received your package:
- Check with neighbors or household members
- Look around your property (porches, garages, mailboxes)
- Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number
- Wait 24 hours - sometimes packages are marked delivered early
- Contact us if you still can't locate your package
